Insurance Information

Which health insurances do LAJC accept?

It is the client’s responsibility to confirm that insurance provides outpatient mental health/substance use treatment and that Rebecca Tanguay, LICSW and any other licensed provider who may be paneled with the insurance company.  Please contact your insurance provider PRIOR to requesting an appointment. The client can also inquire if health insurance offers out-of-network benefits and what it entails.

What's my co-payment ?

Clients are responsible for insurance deductibles and/or any payments not covered by insurance.  LAJC accepts all forms of payments. Cash, check (payable to Life’s A Journey Counseling, LLC), or credit/debit/medical debit cards (a fee will be accessed with card payments). Payments are due at the time of service. If a check is returned, a $35.00 return check fee will be charged/billed to your account.

I don't have insurance, Do you have Cash Rate?

Yes. The Fee is assessed based on income resources provided at initial consultation.  # of minutes per session includes talk therapy and time for necessary paperwork;  treatment planning, diagnostic changes, letter/report writing or other clinical services.
